EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – June 28, 2024 – Managing Partner of The Gori Law Firm, Sara Salger, was recently installed to serve a one-year term as the 71st president of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) on June 7, 2024. The installation took place at the ITLA annual convention, membership meeting, and installation dinner at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk in Chicago, Ill.
“The Illinois Trial Lawyers Association has played an important role in my career development and in building my professional network,” said Salger. “I look forward to serving my profession as president of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association over the next year and giving back to the association’s members, staff, and community for all they have given me.”
Salger has been a member of the ITLA for more than a decade and received the President’s Award for her work as Chair of the ITLA Women’s Caucus. She is recognized in the legal community for winning numerous awards and accolades, including being named a Super Lawyer, Emerging Lawyer, Lead Counsel Verified, a National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, and a National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys Top 10 Under 40 in the State of Illinois. She has served on various philanthropic boards, including the Southern Illinois University Foundation Board and as a Partners for Pets Advisor, where she received the Partners for Pets Rescuer of the Year Award.
Salger has worked at The Gori Law Firm since its inception in 2008 and has served as managing partner since January 2020. She represents the victims of mesothelioma and lung cancer due to asbestos exposure, as well as complex benzene litigation and general personal injury claims.
