Edwardsville, Ill., Nov. 10, 2020 – The Gori Law Firm is proud to announce Patrick J. Moroney has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a recipient of the 2020 New York Metro Rising Star award for exhibiting excellence in his primary practice of civil litigation.
Super Lawyers is a rating service that recognizes outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have achieved a high level of peer recognition as well as professional success. A total of 5 percent of lawyers are named Super Lawyers, but only 2.5 percent of attorneys are presented the Rising Star award. To be eligible for this award, attorneys must be 40 years old or younger with 10 years or less experience.

Moroney joined the New York office of The Gori Law Firm in January. He graduated from the City University of New York (CUNY) – Queens College with a B.S. in Political Science in 2008 and went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2015. Since then, he has worked on behalf of clients who have been diagnosed with Mesothelioma and lung cancer to obtain millions of dollars’ worth in settlements as well as fight for the justice they deserve.
