Biography
James D. Valentine graduated from Omaha Central High School, Thomas Aquinas College, and the University of Nebraska – College of Law. While in law school, he trained to become an officer in the United States Marine Corps. After being commissioned and graduating from the Navel Justice School, he served as a Marine Corps JAG for over two decades.
While in uniform, Mr. Valentine served in many different locations around the globe, including Camp Lejeune, Norfolk Naval Base, Twentynine Palms, Iraq, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and throughout Asia. For the entirety of his career, he dedicated himself to advocating on behalf of thousands of individual sailors and marines.
Shortly following his retirement from the military, Mr. Valentine joined The Gori Law Firm, where he takes great pride in representing individuals who have been affected by asbestos and other toxic exposures, including servicemembers who have suffered disabilities during their time in uniform. He is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and Illinois.
